Williams of Harrogate was established in September 2004 by Steve Williams. It operates a niche convertible sports car retail facility from a modern site on Hornbeam Park in Harrogate and trades under the name of Drivestyle.
The YHEF originally invested £250,000 into the business to enable the expansion of Drivestyle and the acquisition of Harrogate Horseless Carriages, the TVR franchise which operates for Yorkshire and the Humber. As part of the transaction Harrogate Horseless Carriages relocated its new and used car sales operation to Hornbeam Park.
The YHEF have invested in October 2007 a further £200,000 to support the business in its development of two new franchises which it has secured for Lotus and MG Sports cars.
