Taylor and Jones was established in a small workshop in Huddersfield in 1920 and manufactures premium quality reamers that are now sold throughout the world with the Far East, USA and South America being particularly strong markets.
The company is the UK market leader in the manufacture of reamers, a cutting tool utilised principally in the engineering industry in manufacturing, assembly and construction. The Yorkshire & Humber Equity Fund invested £250,000 alongside HSBC Bank to back the MBI team and facilitate the transaction.
